The InterContinental Jimbaran Bali Aquathlon 2025 is set to elevate Bali’s endurance sports scene on April 13, 2025, at the breathtaking InterContinental Bali Resort in Jimbaran. Organized by the Federasi Triathlon Provinsi Bali (FTI Bali) and proudly sponsored by InterContinental Bali Resort, this highly anticipated event combines Bali’s dynamic sports culture with Jimbaran’s scenic coastal beauty. It further solidifies the island’s reputation as a premier destination for both competitive athletes and leisure seekers.

Race Format and Categories

The InterContinental Jimbaran Bali Aquathlon 2025 will test participants with a 1.5 km run, followed by a 1 km open-water swim, and ending with another 1.5 km run—all completed without breaks. This competition is open to the public, with two main race categories:

• Individual Men’s Category: Open to all ages

• Individual Women’s Category: Open to all ages

Trophies will be awarded to the top three finishers in both categories. The minimum age to participate is 16 years old.

On April 12, 2025, participants will have a rare chance to join a coaching clinic led by Andy Wibowo, Indonesia’s top long-distance triathlete. This exclusive session is open to the public through pre-registration, with limited slots available on a first-come, first-served basis.

About Andy Wibowo

Andy Wibowo is a former Olympian and professional triathlete. He represented Indonesia in swimming at the 2004 Athens Olympics, competing in the 100m butterfly event. Since transitioning to triathlon in 2009, he has:

• Completed the Ironman World Championship three times

• Qualified for the Ironman 70.3 World Championship eight times

Now a dedicated coach with Team Hope Tri, Andy is passionate about mentoring Indonesia’s next generation of triathlon champions.
