MONOPOLY: Bali Edition Officially Arrives

MONOPOLY, the world’s most iconic board game, has officially launched its Bali Edition. The grand unveiling gathered tourism leaders, cultural figures, and excited guests, all celebrating the island’s first appearance on the legendary board.

Produced by Winning Moves under official license from Hasbro, this edition highlights Bali’s landscapes, culture, and landmarks. Players can now buy, sell, and trade places like Sanur Beach, Mount Batur, Jatiluwih Rice Terraces, Uluwatu Temple, Tirta Empul, and Garuda Wisnu Kencana. Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach is also featured on a travel square, showcasing the resort as part of the island’s story.

The launch event captured Bali’s spirit with a Kecak Dance performance, speeches from the Ministry of Tourism, Bali Tourism, and Winning Moves, and the highlight of the evening, the board reveal led by Mr. Monopoly himself.

Ni Made Ayu Marthin, Deputy Minister for Marketing at the Ministry of Tourism, shared: “MONOPOLY: Bali Edition is an innovative step in promoting Indonesian tourism. It creates emotional connections and sparks curiosity for travelers worldwide to discover Wonderful Indonesia.”

From the resort side, Andreas Bergel, General Manager of Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach and Area General Manager of IHG Hotels & Resorts Indonesia, said: “We are honored to be one of the two luxury resorts featured in this game. It is a unique way to share the charm of Bali with players across the world.”

The edition also reflects Bali’s community spirit, with Bali Life Foundation and Sungai Watch appearing on the Community Chest spaces. These organizations support education, shelter, and environmental protection, showing how the island gives back.

MONOPOLY: Bali Edition is now available on Tokopedia, Shopee, Kidz Station, Toys City, major department stores, and local game shops. For locals and visitors alike, it is the perfect way to experience Bali’s magic at home, one square at a time.
