This October, Padma Resort Legian invites culinary enthusiasts to experience Flavours of Latin and Nikkei, an exclusive two evening dining series that brings together Guest Chef Silverio Martinez and the resort’s own Chef Juan Carlos Jara Eyzaguirre.

Chef Silverio Martinez, Head Chef at CasaLena in Jakarta, is celebrated for his mastery of wood fire cooking and his ability to highlight the rich depth of Latin American cuisine. His culinary journey has taken him from Mexico to Asia, with a notable tenure as Executive Chef with Marriott International in his home country.

At Padma Resort Legian, Chef Juan Carlos Jara Eyzaguirre leads the culinary vision of TENKAI Japanese Nikkei Restaurant. Originally from Peru, his international career spans more than fourteen years across Brazil, China, Uruguay, Turkey, Qatar, and Indonesia. At TENKAI, he has redefined Nikkei cuisine with inventive creations such as Parihuela Udon, a Japanese Peruvian interpretation of his father’s favorite dish, Ise Ebi Popcorn, lobster tempura with passion fruit, and Tako, slow cooked octopus paired with anticuchos and huancaína sauces.

Together, the two chefs will showcase their shared South American heritage through a celebration of flavors, culture, and creativity.

Day One: Izakaya Night

Venue: TENKAI Japanese Nikkei Restaurant
A free flow Izakaya style menu blending Japanese Nikkei flavors with Latin American influences, accompanied by live acoustic guitar and vocals.
Price: IDR 480,000++ per person.

Day 2: Latin American BBQ Surf and Turf
Sunday 5 October 2025 | 5.30 pm to 10.30 pm
Venue: The Deli Grass Lawn
A semi buffet Latin American style barbecue showcasing a variety of surf and turf specialties, set to DJ curated Latino beats.
Price is based on selected items.
