Holiday Inn Resort Baruna Bali presents POUR BALI at ENVY, a one night bar takeover that celebrates the island’s most authentic spirit. Through inventive cocktails and storytelling, the event brings traditional Balinese Arak into the spotlight of contemporary mixology.

On Sunday, 29 March 2026, the beachfront setting of ENVY Restaurant at Holiday Inn Resort Baruna Bali will transform into a stage for one of Bali’s most intriguing cocktail collaborations.

The event, titled POUR BALI, invites guests to rediscover Arak Dewi Sri, one of the island’s most iconic traditional spirits, through a contemporary cocktail experience curated for one night only.

Taking place from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM, the bar takeover is part of the ENVY Collaboration Series, an initiative that brings together creative talents from Bali’s evolving beverage scene to celebrate the island’s culture through mixology.

Reviving the Legacy of Balinese Arak

At the heart of the evening is Oming Arlin, Brand Ambassador for Arak & Brem Bali Dewi Sri, a spirit that has been produced in Bali since 1968 under PT Hatten Bali Tbk.

For generations, Arak has been distilled from Balinese rice using traditional copper stills and has played an important role in ceremonies, temples, and family gatherings across the island.

For one evening at ENVY, Arlin steps behind the bar to reinterpret this heritage spirit through a modern cocktail lens, introducing guests to the depth and versatility of Arak in a contemporary setting.

Signature Cocktails Inspired by the Island

For the evening, Arlin has crafted a bespoke cocktail menu that highlights the complexity of Dewi Sri Arak and Brem through creative techniques and flavour pairings.

Balinese Sakura

One of the signature serves of the night, Balinese Sakura, offers a delicate and aromatic profile. Built on 50 ml of Dewi Sri Arak Bali, the cocktail is enhanced with Sakura syrup and finished with a house made Jasmine and Grapefruit botanical water. Served over ice and garnished with edible flowers, the drink reflects Bali’s natural beauty through a floral and refreshing flavour composition.

Kiss Roll

For guests seeking a richer flavour profile, Kiss Roll introduces a more layered and complex experience. The cocktail blends 45 ml of thyme infused Dewi Sri Arak Bali, 15 ml of Dewi Sri Brem Liqueur, and 30 ml of fresh lemon juice, finished with a light apple cinnamon espuma. The result is a drink that moves from citrus brightness into warm spice, ending with a soft sweetness that lingers on the palate.

An Evening of Cocktails and Coastal Atmosphere

Cocktails for the evening will be available from IDR 100,000 per glass, with optional food pairing experiences designed to complement the drinks. Set against the relaxed beachfront ambience of ENVY Restaurant, the event promises an evening where Bali’s traditional spirit culture meets modern cocktail craftsmanship.
