Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Celebrates Team Spirit with the Two-Week ‘Sofitelympic’ Games

In the spirit of appreciation and unity, Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort recently transformed its beachfront grounds into a vibrant arena of energy, competition, and camaraderie. From October 13 to 24, 2025, the resort’s People & Culture Department hosted the highly anticipated Sofitelympic — a two-week celebration dedicated to recognizing the passion and commitment of its team.

Bringing together staff from every department — from Culinary and Housekeeping to Front Office and Sales — the event turned daily routines into playful challenges that inspired laughter, teamwork, and wellness. Across multiple sports tournaments, including badminton, futsal, basketball, billiards, and table tennis, every match pulsed with enthusiasm. Adding a modern twist, the Sofitelympic also featured an Esports competition for the hit mobile game Mobile Legends, proving that the Sofitel spirit thrives both on the field and in the digital arena.

Each champion team walked away with well-deserved prizes — IDR 3,000,000 for first place, IDR 2,000,000 for second, and IDR 1,000,000 for third. The coveted overall title went to the ever-energetic Food & Beverage Department, crowned as the grand winners with a trophy and IDR 5,000,000 cash reward.

The excitement reached its peak at the closing ceremony held at the scenic Gamelan Garden. The afternoon opened with a lively Zumba session led by Zin Ayol, followed by an electrifying performance from guest DJ Berlin Bintang — turning the celebration into a festival of music, movement, and shared joy.
