This July, The Meru Sanur invites Bali’s culture lovers and culinary connoisseurs to an unforgettable evening of rhythm, refinement, and revelry. As the official prelude to the celebrated Ubud Village Jazz Festival 2025, the resort presents “Seaside Jazz Mantra” — an exclusive open-air affair at Bali Beach Garden on Wednesday, 30th July 2025.

The evening centers around a meticulously curated six-course wine dinner, a bold collaboration between Chef Melvin Chou and Chef Marco Medaglia. Chef Melvin, Head Chef at Terra Tokyo Italian, Singapore, and one of Asia’s youngest Michelin-starred chefs, brings precision, restraint, and brilliance honed from global greats like Saison, Nihonryori Ryugin, and The Waterside Inn. Expect thoughtful pairings of Hokkaido scallop, Amela tomato, wagyu brisket, white peach, and uni, executed with modern Japanese finesse and Mediterranean soul. Chef Marco, The Meru Sanur’s own culinary maestro, adds his signature flair for balance and seasonality delivering an experience that’s not just luxurious, but alive.

On stage: Bojan Cvetković Quartet, led by the charismatic Serbian jazz pianist whose performances move with the texture of emotion and the energy of invention. Bojan, a key voice in the European jazz renaissance, has graced stages from the United Nations Headquarters in New York to underground sets with experimental funk-jazz collective Drumbooty. His sound is bold, cinematic, and impossible to ignore the perfect sonic companion to an evening under the stars.
