Padma Run Bandung 2026 Returns with a Purpose Beyond the Finish Line
Taking place on 4 October 2026, the annual race will bring together runners, families, and communities in support of wellness, inclusive education, and meaningful social impact.
Padma Hotels is set to welcome runners back for Padma Run Bandung 2026, an annual sporting event that combines fitness, community, and charitable giving. Scheduled for Sunday, 4 October 2026, the race will carry the theme #LaceUpForChange, encouraging participants to turn every kilometre into a step towards positive change.
This year’s edition will take place exclusively in Bandung and is expected to welcome more than 1,061 participants from across Indonesia, ranging from recreational runners and families to experienced athletes.
Starting and finishing at Padma Hotel Bandung, participants can choose between scenic 5K and 10K routes through the hills and distinctive streets of North Bandung. The varied elevations will provide an engaging challenge while showcasing the city’s natural surroundings and urban character.
The race-day experience will include exclusive running jerseys, finisher medals, refreshments, sponsor activations, and cash prizes for podium winners. Registration is priced at IDR 290,000 for the 5K category and IDR 390,000 for the 10K category, with open and masters categories available.
Running for Inclusive Education
Beyond the sporting challenge, Padma Run Bandung 2026 forms part of a collaborative Corporate Social Responsibility initiative involving Padma Hotels properties across Indonesia, including Padma Resort Legian, Padma Resort Ubud, Padma Hotel Semarang, Resinda Hotel Karawang, and Padma Hotel Bandung.
A portion of each registration fee will be donated to Sekolah Pendidikan Luar Biasa Anak dengan Hambatan Intelektual in Cipaganti, Bandung, supporting educational opportunities and developmental programmes for children with intellectual disabilities.
Through the initiative, participants will be contributing to a cause that extends well beyond race day. Every registration will help support more inclusive access to education while encouraging healthier and more active lifestyles within the wider community.
“Every runner has a reason to start, but the most meaningful journeys are those that create a positive impact on others.”
— Desiree Merlina, Race Director and Corporate Director of Marketing Communications, Padma Hotels
Merlina explained that the course’s hills and elevation changes reflect life’s challenges, requiring resilience and determination from every participant. Through #LaceUpForChange, Padma Hotels hopes the event will inspire runners to continue moving forward with optimism and purpose.
More than a race, Padma Run Bandung 2026 is designed as a celebration of collective progress. Each finish line crossed will represent a personal achievement, while every kilometre completed will contribute to a broader effort to empower children and support inclusive education.
