Goolali Gelato Bar & Patisserie at Padma Hotel Semarang has introduced a new Artisan Afternoon Tea in collaboration with TWG Tea, marking the first such collaboration in Semarang with the internationally recognised luxury tea house. The experience is available for a limited time from 5 August to 30 September 2026.
Created for leisurely afternoons and intimate gatherings, the offering combines handcrafted pastries, refined savoury bites and thoughtfully selected TWG Tea pairings. At the centre of the experience is a menu developed by the culinary team at Padma Hotel Semarang, with an emphasis on local flavours interpreted through a more contemporary patisserie lens.
Among the highlights are creations such as Pisang Ijo Macaron and Es Kacang Merah, alongside signature pastries infused with premium TWG Tea blends including Weekend in Shanghai Tea, Sakura! Sakura! Tea and Timeless Tea. The menu also features elegant desserts, freshly baked signature breads and savoury delicacies designed to balance indulgence with refinement.
Guests may also choose two servings of TWG Tea from English Breakfast Tea, Moroccan Mint Tea or Grand Jasmine Tea, each selected to complement the flavours of the afternoon tea selection.
For Enggie Anggakusumah, Executive Pastry Chef of Padma Hotel Semarang, the concept reflects the balance between precision and creativity that defines pastry. He describes the experience as an expression of careful technique, artistic presentation and an element of surprise in every bite.
Served at Goolali Gelato Bar & Patisserie, the Artisan Afternoon Tea is priced at IDR 375,000++ per tray and is designed for two guests to share. The venue’s warm, contemporary setting makes the experience suitable for quiet catch-ups, celebrations or simply a slower pause during the day.
Located in the lobby of Padma Hotel Semarang, Goolali Gelato Bar & Patisserie is known for handcrafted desserts, artisanal pastries, premium beverages and refined afternoon indulgence, with a setting designed for casual gatherings and memorable everyday moments.
