A Taste of the World by the Sea at Grand Hyatt Bali
From Japanese teppanyaki and Mediterranean flavors to Indonesian feasts accompanied by Balinese performances, Grand Hyatt Bali turns every meal into part of the Nusa Dua experience.
A holiday in Bali is often remembered through its moments around the table. At Grand Hyatt Bali, dining stretches from leisurely breakfasts beside tropical gardens to beachfront lunches and evenings filled with food, culture, and the sound of the Indian Ocean.
Set along the shores of Nusa Dua, the resort offers a collection of restaurants and dining experiences spanning Indonesian, Japanese, Italian, Asian, Indian, Chinese, and Western cuisine—giving guests something different to discover throughout their stay.
Around the World at Garden Café
Recently reopened with a refreshed contemporary setting, Garden Café serves as the resort’s international all-day dining destination.
Surrounded by cascading waterfalls and tranquil lagoons, its rotating menu moves across continents, with selections ranging from Yang Chow Fried Rice and Kung Pao Chicken to Tandoori Chicken, Roasted Pumpkin and Sage, and Indonesian Sop Buntut.
Among its signatures are Chinese Roasted Duck with crisp golden skin, Indian Rara Gosht featuring lamb slow-cooked with spiced minced meat, and an exclusive Egg Tart created for Garden Café.
Mediterranean Living at Salsa Verde
For dining closer to the sea, Salsa Verde embraces the relaxed spirit of Mediterranean coastal living.
The beachfront restaurant focuses on Italian cuisine prepared with fresh ingredients, pairing Bali’s tropical setting with dishes including Grilled Beef Skewers, Roast Spring Chicken, and Pan-Seared Barramundi.
It is the kind of place made for unhurried lunches and dinners—where the surroundings become as much a part of the experience as what arrives on the plate.
Indonesia Through the Watercourt
Inspired by Bali’s legendary water palaces, Watercourt places Indonesian flavors within one of the resort’s most atmospheric settings.
Its menu travels across the archipelago, including the signature Jimbaran Bay Seafood Platter with lobster, white fish, oysters, squid, and prawns, as well as Megibung, a Balinese-style communal feast of pandan rice, grilled prawns, pork belly, spiced fried duck, Indonesian salad, and sambal.
Regional specialties go further with dishes such as Ayam Bakar Biromaru, inspired by Sulawesi, and Bebek Kalio, pairing crispy duck with a rich Sumatran kalio sauce.
Japanese Craftsmanship at Nampu
A quieter mood awaits at Nampu, where Japanese-inspired design, lush surrounding greenery, and warm
natural light create an elegant backdrop for the restaurant’s cuisine.
Guests can watch teppanyaki chefs at work or settle into the main dining room for Japanese favorites including premium Wagyu, tempura, sashimi, and a curated selection of sake.
The experience balances theatrical cooking with the calm restraint associated with Japanese dining, offering another distinctly different side of Grand Hyatt Bali’s culinary landscape.
Dinner Becomes a Cultural Experience at Pasar Senggol
Perhaps the resort’s most immersive expression of Indonesia comes after sunset.
At Pasar Senggol, traditional Indonesian cooking shares the stage with Balinese culture. Local ingredients and time-honored techniques shape dishes filled with spices, grilled preparations, and rich regional flavors, while a program of cultural performances unfolds throughout the evening.
Guests may encounter the graceful Cendrawasih Dance, dramatic Fire Dance, legendary Kecak Ramayana, interactive Joged Bumbung, and heroic Tari Baris as part of the experience.
Pasar Senggol also provides a platform for local small businesses and artisans, incorporating their craftsmanship into the venue and creating a broader showcase of Balinese creative culture beyond the dining table.
Poolside, With the Indian Ocean Ahead
For something more casual, Pool Bar brings tropical cocktails, mocktails, crushed beverages, light bites, and snacks to the resort’s beachfront setting.
Guests can spend the day between the pool and Grand Hyatt Bali’s white-sand beachfront or retreat to private beach cabanas overlooking the Indian Ocean. The resort has also introduced Elevated Beach Cabanas, positioned around the pool area for greater privacy and comfort beneath the Bali sun.
More Reasons to Stay Around the Table
The resort’s dining experience extends to World of Hyatt members, who ordinarily earn five World of Hyatt points for every eligible USD 1 spent.
From August 1 to September 30, 2026, members can also earn 2X World of Hyatt Bonus Points on eligible dine-in and takeaway spending, applicable to qualifying non-stay expenditure of at least USD 10.
Whether the occasion is a quiet meal alone, afternoon tea with friends, sunset drinks, a family gathering, or a celebration overlooking the ocean, Grand Hyatt Bali’s collection of venues makes dining an experience that can evolve with every day of the stay.
Beyond its restaurants, the setting itself completes the story: tropical gardens, lagoons, a pristine stretch of Nusa Dua beach, and the Indian Ocean create a backdrop suited to everything from casual afternoons to private celebrations.
