Bistro Hoi An Welcomes Summer with Bold Vietnamese Flavours and a Showstopping Bánh Mì

A seasonal celebration of Vietnamese classics arrives in Hong Kong with festive menus, vibrant new dishes, and the city’s largest bamboo charcoal bánh mì.

This season, Bistro Hoi An invites diners into a spirited celebration of Vietnamese cuisine with a summer lineup designed for sharing, discovery, and joyful gatherings. Leading the launch is Hong Kong’s largest bamboo charcoal bánh mì, a dramatic 20 inch creation that brings street food theatre to the table while honoring one of Vietnam’s most beloved culinary icons.

Available from 23 April to 30 June 2026 at Bistro Hoi An’s ELEMENTS location, the limited edition sandwich is filled with layers of chicken pâté, pork liver pâté, five spice pork belly, pork floss, pickled vegetables, scallions, coriander, chili, and rich Vietnamese mayonnaise, finished with a touch of fish sauce. Priced at HK$188, only 20 are served daily, with advance reservations recommended.

To complete the experience, guests may pair the signature bánh mì with traditional Vietnamese coffee or tea selections from just HK$28. Highlights include cà phê sữa, cà phê dừa, cà phê muối, and ginger glow tea, presented through Bistro Hoi An’s collaboration with Hoi An Roastery, a respected producer championing sustainable sourcing and direct trade with farming families across Central Vietnam.

For larger groups, the Vietnamese Flavour Platter offers a generous feast crafted for six. Served exclusively at the ELEMENTS branch, the platter features a selection of appetizers and specialties including rice paper rolls, spring rolls, chicken skewers, honey pomelo prawn salad, beef tartare, grilled beef in betel leaf, and crispy pancake with shrimp and pork.

Seasonal family celebrations are also in focus with the Hoi An Heritage Family Menu, available for Mother’s Day on 10 May and Father’s Day on 21 June 2026 from 5:30 pm. Designed for four guests at HK$1,288, the sharing menu features appetizers, hearty mains such as turmeric whole seabass and roasted three yellow chicken, flavorful sides, vegetables, desserts, and beverages.

Beyond the festive menus, Bistro Hoi An introduces fresh à la carte additions that channel Vietnam’s lively street dining spirit. New creations include crispy pancake with shrimp and pork, Vietnamese steamed savoury rice cake, wok fried semi dried squid glass noodle, lime cured turmeric hamachi, and chargrilled wagyu bavette served with crispy youtiao.

With two distinctive addresses in Hong Kong, one at Civic Square in ELEMENTS and another at Gold Coast Piazza in Tuen Mun, Bistro Hoi An continues to blend the warmth of Vietnamese hospitality with stylish interiors inspired by lantern lit Hoi An. It is a dining destination where heritage, flavor, and atmosphere come together beautifully this summer.
