Explora Journeys will introduce its first President’s Journey aboard EXPLORA II, sailing from Barcelona to Tenerife from December 9 to 16, 2026. President Anna Nash, who designed the experience, will join guests onboard from December 9 to 15 for a program centered on conversation, shared experiences, and a closer look at the people shaping the brand.

Open to returning and first-time guests, the sailing forms part of A Serene Mediterranean, Explora Journeys’ Winter 2026–2027 Journeys Collection. It reflects Nash’s approach to hospitality, informed by more than two decades in luxury travel and a career largely shaped outside the cruise industry.

A conversation about ocean travel

Guests will have opportunities to meet Nash informally during morning walks and intimate dinners. Focused conversations with her and members of the Explora Journeys leadership team will invite guests to discuss the experiences they value and what they would like from future sailings.

For Nash, listening is central to hospitality. The President’s Journey creates time for those exchanges, giving guests insight into the brand’s direction while allowing its leadership to hear their perspectives firsthand.

Historic Gibraltar and an evening in Casablanca

In Gibraltar, a specially created destination experience will combine a scenic drive and exploration of the territory’s World War II tunnels with privileged access to The Convent, the historic official residence of the Governor of Gibraltar.

An overnight stay in Casablanca will allow more time to explore the city. A signature complimentary Destination Experience at Royal Mansour Casablanca will bring guests together with Nash for sunset cocktails in an intimate setting with limited capacity. The following day will leave time for independent discovery.

Perspectives from sport and the sea

The onboard enrichment program will feature Lewis Pugh, UN Patron of the Ocean and a world-record-holding endurance swimmer, alongside Annabel Croft, the former British number one tennis player, sports broadcaster, and television presenter.

Broadcaster and journalist Matt Barbet will contribute perspectives drawn from storytelling and current affairs, while ocean travel destination expert Gail Packer will share insights from her experience in the sector. Together, the speakers will bring different approaches to exploration, conservation, sport, and travel.

Explora Club Members will receive dedicated recognition and priority access to selected experiences. The sailing will also include events with limited capacity and invitation-only gatherings spanning destination, wellness, and culinary experiences.

The Mediterranean in winter

Running from November 2026 through March 2027, A Serene Mediterranean explores the region beyond the high-summer season. Across the collection, itineraries connect guests with local culture, heritage, gastronomy, and craftsmanship in destinations ranging from Sicily and Tunisia to the Greek Islands, Iberia, and the Atlantic coast.

The collection also includes shorter four- and five-night sailings, offering more flexibility for travelers seeking a brief ocean escape.
