A Family Journey Through Nature at Padma Resort Ubud
The Agroforestry Tour invites families to explore tropical gardens, native forest and interactive agricultural experiences while discovering the resort’s approach to sustainability.
Padma Resort Ubud introduces the Agroforestry Tour, an immersive family experience designed to bring guests closer to nature while offering an engaging introduction to sustainable farming and Bali’s biodiversity.
Set within the resort’s three-hectare Agroforestry Garden near the main entrance, the tour leads guests through a thriving landscape of tropical flowers, fragrant herbs, fruit trees, shrubs and native greenery. More than a scenic garden, the space plays an active role in the resort’s sustainability initiatives by supplying fresh produce for its culinary offerings.
As families walk through the garden, they can discover a variety of seasonal tropical fruits and aromatic nutmeg flowers, alongside the remarkable Amorphophallus titanum, one of the largest flowering plants in the world.
The journey also extends into one hectare of tropical forest, where the surrounding ecosystem provides a peaceful setting to observe the natural beauty of Payangan. Shaded pathways, dense greenery and fresh mountain air create an atmosphere that feels both educational and restorative.
Beyond the garden, guests can continue to the resort’s Animal Garden, Fishing Lagoon and Miniature Rice Fields. These interactive spaces introduce children and adults to Bali’s agricultural traditions through hands-on encounters with plants, animals and rural landscapes.
Designed for guests of all ages, the Agroforestry Tour turns a simple walk into an opportunity for discovery. Families can learn about local flora, observe wildlife and gain a deeper understanding of how food, farming and nature are connected.
With its combination of education, exploration and time spent outdoors, the experience offers families a meaningful way to reconnect while discovering another side of Padma Resort Ubud.
