The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali Introduces Wellness, Your Way
Launched for Global Wellness Day 2026, the campaign celebrates personalised wellbeing through movement, recovery, nourishment, mindfulness and meaningful connection.
The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali has launched Wellness, Your Way, a new campaign marking Global Wellness Day 2026 and celebrating the many ways travellers define and pursue wellbeing.
Built around Westin’s signature Sleep Well, Move Well and Eat Well pillars, the campaign moves beyond a one-size-fits-all approach. It encourages guests to shape a wellness journey around their own needs, whether that means improving sleep, managing stress, reconnecting with loved ones, recovering physically or simply finding moments of balance.
Wellness Without a Fixed Formula
Wellness, Your Way reflects the changing expectations of modern travellers. While wellness was once closely associated with fitness routines and spa treatments, guests now seek experiences that support emotional balance, personal reflection, connection and sustainable habits.
Rather than prescribing a single routine, the campaign highlights authentic moments across the resort, from mindful movement and nutrition-focused dining to recovery experiences, family activities and quiet time by the ocean.
From Sunrise Ice Baths to Quiet Moments by the Ocean
Among the campaign’s featured experiences is the resort’s signature Beachfront Ice Bath. Set along the Nusa Dua coastline, the experience begins with controlled breathing before guests immerse themselves in cold water as the sun rises over the Indian Ocean.
Although physically invigorating, the experience is also designed to encourage focus, clarity and a sense of personal achievement. For some guests, wellbeing may involve testing physical limits; for others, it may be found through stillness, mindfulness or renewed balance.
Personalised Guidance with Dr. Jitendra Pokhriyal
The resort’s wellness philosophy is led by Dr. Jitendra Pokhriyal, Director of Wellness and Recreation, who works with guests through personalised consultations and guided experiences. His approach focuses on understanding individual lifestyles, goals and motivations before identifying practical ways to support long-term wellbeing.
“True wellness is not about following a fixed formula. Every individual arrives with different goals, challenges and motivations. Our role is to help guests discover what wellbeing means for them and provide experiences that feel both meaningful and sustainable.”
A Wellness Ecosystem for Every Traveller
The resort’s wellness facilities include the WestinWORKOUT® Fitness Studio, the RunWestin and Running Concierge programmes, a Reformer Pilates Studio, Hot Yoga Sanctuary, Spin Studio, Wellness Studio, tennis courts and a golf zone.
Guests may begin the day with an energising workout or guided beachfront run, choose a mindful movement session, book a restorative spa treatment or explore nutrition-focused dining across the resort’s seven restaurants and bars.
Families can participate in wellbeing experiences through the Westin Family programme, while business and incentive travellers may incorporate wellness-focused activities into meetings and events at the adjacent Bali International Convention Centre, which can accommodate up to 10,000 delegates.
A More Personal Approach to Wellness Travel
Sander Looijen, General Manager of The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali, said guests increasingly define wellness in highly individual ways, from improving physical performance and sleeping better to recovering from burnout, reconnecting with family or stepping away from an always-connected world.
“There is no longer a single version of wellness travel. Wellness, Your Way was created to celebrate that diversity and remind people that wellbeing can look different for everyone.”
Through the campaign, The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali invites travellers to create a personal version of living well, shaped by their individual needs, aspirations and experiences.
