Amarterra Villas Bali Celebrates Indonesia’s Independence Day With Flavours of Nusantara
This Indonesia’s Independence Day, Amarterra Villas Resort Bali, Autograph Collection invites guests to experience the country’s culinary heritage through Flavours of Nusantara
Taking place on 17 August 2026 from 6:00 PM onwards at the resort’s elegant Chandra Suriya Gate, the special collaboration features Executive Chef Ari Pramana of Amarterra Villas Resort Bali, Autograph Collection alongside Executive Sous Chef Yusuf Milyardi of The Laguna, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Nusa Dua.
Created as a celebration of Indonesia’s Independence Day, the evening presents a thoughtfully curated four-course menu inspired by the country’s diverse culinary traditions. Rather than simply reproducing familiar recipes, the two chefs will explore Indonesian flavors through contemporary techniques, refined presentation, and their individual culinary perspectives.
The result is a dining experience where heritage and innovation meet on the plate, allowing regional ingredients and traditional inspirations to be interpreted through a more modern lens.
Adding a personal element to the evening, Chef Ari Pramana and Chef Yusuf will introduce each course themselves, sharing the ideas, memories, and inspirations behind the dishes. Guests will have the opportunity to experience not only the flavors of the menu, but also the stories and creative processes that shaped it.
The culinary journey will be accompanied by live Keroncong music, bringing a nostalgic Indonesian atmosphere to the evening and complementing the spirit of the Independence Day celebration.
More than a collaborative dinner, Flavours of Nusantara is an exploration of craftsmanship, culture, and the possibilities that emerge when two culinary perspectives come together. Through the collaboration, Amarterra Villas Bali offers a fresh interpretation of Indonesian gastronomy while remaining deeply connected to the traditions that inspire it.
Set within the tranquil surroundings of Amarterra Villas Resort Bali Nusa Dua, Autograph Collection, the one-night experience offers guests an opportunity to celebrate Indonesia through food, storytelling, music, and a shared appreciation for the country’s rich culinary identity.
