Lion X Unveils Mooncake Galore for the Mid-Autumn Festival
Classic baked favourites meet playful snowskin creations in a contemporary mooncake collection available from 8 September to 8 October 2026.
This Mid-Autumn Festival, Lion X Restaurant celebrates tradition through a contemporary lens with Mooncake Galore, an artisanal collection combining familiar festive flavours with unexpected textures and modern interpretations. Available from 8 September to 8 October 2026, the collection features both classic baked mooncakes and colourful snowskin creations designed for sharing, gifting and seasonal indulgence.
A Contemporary Take on Tradition
At the centre of the collection is Lion X’s Snowskin Collection, where delicate, chewy pastry surrounds a selection of inventive fillings.
Naiwong Custard Egg with Mung Bean combines silky Hong Kong-style custard with smooth mung bean paste, while Yam Taro Peanut Lotus layers creamy taro, roasted peanuts and fragrant lotus paste for a contrast of textures.
For a tropical expression, Wintermelon with Homemade Pineapple Paste pairs the gentle sweetness of wintermelon with tangy handcrafted pineapple filling. Meanwhile, Purple Potato Lotus Paste with Ferrero Rocher Chocolate brings together purple sweet potato, lotus paste and chocolate in an East-meets-West interpretation of the festive favourite.
Celebrating the Classics
Alongside its contemporary creations, Mooncake Galore also presents a Classic Baked Collection, prepared with a refined, low-sugar recipe while retaining the flavours traditionally associated with the Mid-Autumn Festival.
The selection includes White Lotus Paste, Red Bean Paste, Green Tea Lotus Paste, Black Sesame Lotus Paste, Pandan Almond Lotus Paste and Red Lotus Paste, ranging from delicate sweetness and earthy richness to fragrant tea, sesame and pandan notes.
Each baked mooncake is available with or without a single egg yolk, giving guests the choice between a lighter version or the traditional sweet-and-savoury combination associated with prosperity and completeness.

Presented in elegant packaging, Mooncake Galore has been designed to suit everything from a personal festive treat to family gatherings and thoughtful gifts for friends, colleagues or clients. Prices start from IDR 260,000 net.
