MDA Restaurants officially introduces Baker Butcher Barista Ubud, marking the brand’s first expansion to Bali. Located within Alaya Suites Ubud, the new outpost brings together artisan baking, specialty coffee, and a modern butcher-led dining concept in the heart of Ubud’s cultural and culinary district.
Designed as an all-day dining destination, Baker Butcher Barista Ubud moves from morning pastries and leisurely brunches to comforting lunch plates and evening gatherings. The venue reflects the pace of Ubud, offering a warm and thoughtful dining experience for guests looking to enjoy quality food, crafted drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere under one roof.
The Ubud menu brings together signature favorites from the Jakarta flagship, including Corny Bennie, Crab Toast, B.Mw.-Cang, Soto Tangkar, and Pastrami Sandwich, alongside new creations developed exclusively for the Bali outpost. The result is a menu that stays true to the bold flavors and craftsmanship of Baker Butcher Barista, while embracing the character and energy of its new home in Bali.
In line with Ubud’s wellness-driven lifestyle, Baker Butcher Barista Ubud also introduces a selection of vegetarian and plant-forward dishes. Highlights include Watermelon Salad, Spiced Pumpkin Tabbouleh, and Tempeh Club, offering lighter options while maintaining the satisfying flavors the brand is known for.
The menu also explores global influences through dishes such as Not Your Gado2, a contemporary interpretation of the Indonesian classic, as well as Fattoush, Lamb Shawarma, and Hay Smoked Tuna Tataki. For burger lovers, indulgent options include The Steakhouse BBBurger and the fan-favorite Classic Smashed Burger.
Pastries remain at the heart of the Baker Butcher Barista experience. Bali-exclusive additions include the B.E.K, inspired by Korean breakfast flavors of bulgogi, kimchi, and runny onsen egg, along with the Garlic Bomb, a buttery croissant knot created for garlic lovers. Signature favorites from Jakarta, including Tjempedak Croissant, Kenari Croissant, and CocoMochi, are also available at the Ubud counter.
The beverage program continues the brand’s focus on specialty coffee, supported by Baker Butcher Barista’s in-house roasted beans. Guests can enjoy espresso-based drinks, filter coffee, and playful Black and White creations such as Black Apple, Black Calamansi, Dji Sam Susu, Teh Botol Latte, and Onde Onde. The Ubud outpost also expands its matcha selections, available in both traditional and latte preparations.
As an extension of the Baker Butcher Barista concept, the Ubud chapter blends familiarity with new discoveries. From handcrafted pastries and thoughtfully sourced coffee to comfort-driven dishes and butcher-led plates, the venue invites guests to experience a dining destination that feels closely connected to the rhythm, community, and culture of Ubud.
