Cicada Resort Bali Ubud, Autograph Collection will bring the playful spirit of Balinese childhood to its festive season through Dolanan, a program combining Christmas and New Year’s dining, cultural performances, and wellness experiences. Set in Sebatu, north of Ubud, the celebration connects guests with the village’s performing arts traditions through a collaboration with Sanggar Jaya Semarawati.
The local performing arts group’s repertoire spans gamelan, dance, masked performance, vocal arts, storytelling, and kecak. Its participation places the surrounding community’s living heritage at the center of the celebrations, with music, movement, and traditional play woven into the festive calendar.
Christmas Eve at Tangelo Bali
On December 24, 2026, Tangelo Bali will serve an eight-course Christmas Eve Dinner from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m., accompanied by Balinese Dolanan, traditional dance, and gamelan performances by Sanggar Jaya Semarawati.
Menu highlights include Foie Gras and Cherry Brioche, Duck Ravioli with Duck Consommé, Herb-Crusted Chilean Sea Bass, Australian Wagyu MB 6–7, and Baked Alaskan. The dinner is priced at IDR 1,100,000++ per person.
Christmas Day from breakfast to dinner
Christmas morning on December 25 will begin at Tangelo Bali with an Infinite À La Carte Breakfast, with a Santa mingle and choir performances from 9:00 a.m.
In the evening, an eight-course Christmas Dinner will run from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. Christmas games will draw on Dolanan’s sense of play, while live acoustic music will accompany the meal. The dinner is priced at IDR 1,100,000++ per person.
A New Year inspired by the Indonesian night market
For December 31, Tangelo Bali will present Unlimited Live Gastronomy, a New Year’s Eve experience inspired by the atmosphere of a traditional Indonesian night market. Regional favorites and dishes prepared at live cooking stations will introduce flavors from across the archipelago.
The evening’s program includes mini games, Balinese Dolanan performances by Sanggar Jaya Semarawati, and a fire dance, followed by an after-party and countdown. The New Year’s Eve celebration is priced at IDR 1,500,000++ per person.
A quieter moment of renewal
At Pravi Spa and Wellness, Sebatu Ening offers a more reflective experience alongside the festive dining and entertainment. Inspired by Sebatu’s sacred water traditions and the practice of Melukat, the ritual combines traditional cleansing, mindful gratitude, and the signature Sebatu Massage.
Priced at IDR 1,800,000++ per person, Sebatu Ening is designed as an opportunity to pause and reflect before the year ahead, connecting the resort’s wellness offering with the cultural character of its surroundings.
