GDAS Bali Health & Wellness Resort Opens in Ubud: A Sanctuary of Usadha, Culture, and Conscious Living
Discover a sanctuary inspired by Bali’s healing traditions, surrounded by nature’s serenity.
Ubud has long been a place where spirituality and artistry converge, and now it welcomes a new destination that embodies both. On Saturday, October 4, 2025, GDAS Bali Health & Wellness Resort celebrates its Grand Opening, unveiling a retreat where ancient Balinese healing meets contemporary wellness.
More than a resort, GDAS Bali is envisioned as a sanctuary for seekers of balance and beauty. The philosophy of Usadha—Bali’s traditional healing wisdom, guides every experience, from mindful dining to transformative rituals. It is an invitation to slow down, reconnect with nature, and embrace the island’s rhythm at a deeper level.
The opening night promises to be a sensory journey. Guests will witness Taru Pramana – The Story of Hanuman’s Quest for Lata Mausadi, a captivating performance by Sanggar Paripurna that celebrates courage, devotion, and the triumph of light over darkness.
Music will fill the Ubud sky with the vibrant sounds of Supa Kalulu, bringing Zimbabwean marimba rhythms, horns, and harmonies that invite everyone to dance. As the evening deepens, DJ Brian Hartman will take over with soulful beats designed to inspire connection and joy.
To complete the celebration, a specially curated plant-based dinner will nourish both body and soul, reflecting GDAS Bali’s commitment to mindful living.
As part of this milestone, GDAS Bali unveils its latest addition, the Two-Bedroom Pool Villa. This exclusive space is perfect for adult families or groups who desire privacy and comfort while still surrounded by lush serenity. With this debut, the resort now offers 28 elegantly appointed bedrooms, each designed with a blend of modern comfort and Balinese artistry.
“The philosophy of Usadha is at the heart of what we do, and we are honoured to share it with the world,” says Surya Darma, General Manager of GDAS Bali. “Our vision is to create a place where guests can experience Bali’s wisdom, slow down, and reconnect with themselves and with nature.”
The Grand Opening is not just the unveiling of a resort. It marks the beginning of a movement to bring authentic Balinese healing, culture, and mindful living to a global audience. With state-of-the-art wellness facilities, immersive cultural programs, and a culinary journey inspired by Bali’s bounty, GDAS Bali is poised to become one of the island’s most meaningful destinations.
