For Kappa Senses Ubud, the anniversary has become an opportunity to connect each year’s milestone with a wider contribution to the destination. “Over the past four years, our journey has not only been measured by what we have achieved, but also by what we can give back,” said Santi Triana. “That is why, each year, we strive to make Kappa Senses Ubud’s anniversary more than just a celebration — it is also a meaningful opportunity to give back to the community through our Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.”

I Nyoman Sunarta highlighted the scale of the resort’s contribution to Wana Segara Kertih, noting that the 4,000 trees represent one of the largest tree-planting contributions made to the area to date. The initiative was supported by 139 volunteers, reinforcing the collaborative approach behind the project and the shared responsibility involved in protecting Bali’s natural environment.

The resort’s approach to corporate social responsibility combines environmental action with community participation and cross-sector collaboration. For Kappa Senses Ubud, the fourth anniversary therefore became both a reflection on its journey since opening and a way to reaffirm its commitment to more responsible hospitality.

The mangrove planting concluded with participants contributing directly to coastal restoration at Wana Segara Kertih. As Kappa Senses Ubud enters its fifth year, the resort continues to focus on building meaningful connections with its community, supporting environmental initiatives and pursuing more responsible approaches to hospitality.
