Kiki Moka Brings an Exclusive Two-Night Bar Takeover to Ikan Bar in Nusa Dua
The acclaimed Indonesian mixologist will present four signature cocktails during a special guest shift at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali, on August 7 and 8, 2026.
Ikan Bar at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali, is set to welcome renowned Indonesian mixologist Kiki Moka for an exclusive two-night guest shift and bar takeover on August 7 and 8, 2026.
Set along the coastline of Nusa Dua, the collaboration will bring together Ikan Bar’s relaxed seaside atmosphere and Kiki’s distinctive approach to contemporary mixology. Throughout the event, guests will have the opportunity to experience four signature cocktails personally presented by Kiki, each highlighting the creativity and expertise he has developed over more than two decades in the industry.
The limited-edition cocktail collection will combine classic techniques, unexpected flavor pairings, and locally inspired ingredients. Designed to remain approachable while offering a strong sense of character, the drinks reflect Kiki’s philosophy of prioritizing flavor, balance, and memorable storytelling over unnecessary complexity.
A Leading Figure in Indonesia’s Cocktail Culture
Widely regarded as one of the pioneers of Indonesia’s modern bar scene, Kiki Moka has played an influential role in shaping the country’s cocktail culture for more than 20 years.
As Head Mixologist of Union Group Jakarta, he oversees prominent venues including The Cocktail Club, Modernhaus, Union, and Loewy. He is also known for mentoring emerging bartenders and representing Indonesia within the international drinks community.
His contribution to the industry has received global recognition. In 2024, Kiki was ranked No. 75 among Drinks International’s Bar World 100, a list highlighting influential figures in the global bar industry. Under his leadership, The Cocktail Club was named Indonesia’s Best Bar and secured a place among Asia’s 50 Best Bars, while Modernhaus has also been featured on the prestigious regional ranking.
For the Nusa Dua takeover, Kiki will work alongside Ikan Bar Head Bartender Deni Alan Hartono and the wider bar team. Deni was named Indonesia’s winner of the Marriott International Sustainable Bartender Championship Indonesia & Malaysia 2026, adding another layer of local talent to the collaboration.
A Two-Night Cocktail Experience by the Beach
Available exclusively during the event, the four-cocktail collection will give guests the opportunity to discover the inspiration, stories, and techniques behind each creation.
Presented by Kiki throughout the guest shift, the experience is designed for cocktail enthusiasts looking to explore something beyond the familiar while enjoying Ikan Bar’s beachfront setting.
