TENKAI Japanese Nikkei Restaurant and Takumi Japanese Fine Dining unite for a one-night-only 22-dish collaboration led by Chef Juan Carlos and Chef Daijiro.
Padma Resort Legian will host Four Hands Izakaya Night at TENKAI Japanese Nikkei Restaurant on Saturday, 29 August 2026, bringing together the culinary talents of Chef Juan Carlos of TENKAI and Chef Daijiro of Takumi Japanese Fine Dining.
Created for one evening only, the collaboration presents a 22-dish Izakaya-style menu that combines TENKAI’s bold Nikkei flavours with Takumi’s refined Japanese approach. The experience brings together signature dishes, seasonal ingredients and creative interpretations inspired by both restaurants.
Two Culinary Philosophies, One Menu
The menu is designed to highlight the contrast and harmony between Nikkei cuisine and Japanese fine dining. Guests can expect a progression of dishes that moves between bright, expressive flavours and more precise, understated preparations.
Featured creations include Mixto Ceviche, Wagyu Chahan, Aburi Beef Nigiri and Smoked Salmon Carbonara, offering a glimpse into the techniques and identities of both kitchens.
Cocktails and Live Entertainment
TENKAI will also present a selection of Nikkei-inspired cocktails created especially for the evening. The drinks include the Nikkei Paloma, Matcha Velvet and Yuzu Gin Sour, each designed to complement the vibrant flavours of the menu.
Reflecting the convivial character of an Izakaya, the evening will unfold in an elegant yet relaxed setting, accompanied by live saxophone entertainment. The format is intended for friends, couples and culinary enthusiasts seeking a shared dining experience centred on flavour, craftsmanship and Japanese culinary artistry.

Four Hands Izakaya Night will take place at TENKAI Japanese Nikkei Restaurant, Padma Resort Legian, on Saturday, 29 August 2026, from 6:00pm to 9:30pm.
