Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort Welcomes the Festive Season with “The Poetry of the Glow”
From candlelit rituals and Christmas feasts to beachfront fireworks, Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort brings French flair and Balinese warmth to the year-end season.
Bali takes on a different glow at the end of the year, when festive traditions meet the island’s unmistakable rhythm. This December, Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort embraces that atmosphere through “The Poetry of the Glow,” a season-long celebration shaped around light, togetherness and the warmth of the holidays.
The program begins on 4 December at 6 PM with a Christmas Lighting Ceremony at the Rotunda Lobby, where a candle ritual will illuminate the resort for the season. The theme continues beyond the public spaces with the Candle Experience, available across all room categories from November 2026 to February 2027. Priced at IDR 3,500,000++ per set-up, the experience includes a one-time candle arrangement, a bottle of Pommery Champagne, a flower bouquet and welcome amenities.
Christmas Eve, Two Ways
Christmas Eve gives guests two distinct ways to celebrate. At Cucina, the evening is designed as a more intimate affair, with a five-course set menu paired with selected wines and signature cocktails, accompanied by live violin and piano performances from 6 PM to 11 PM.
For a more relaxed tropical celebration, the Gamelan Ballroom will host a festive buffet with live music and a fire dance performance. Christmas Eve dining starts from IDR 899,000++ per adult and IDR 495,000++ per child aged 6–12.
Christmas Day Around the Table
Christmas Day continues with two festive brunch experiences. From 11 AM to 3 PM, Cucina will serve an indulgent spread of Italian, French and Asian favorites, complemented by gourmet charcuterie, live music, a children’s choir and a visit from Santa Claus.
At the Gamelan Ballroom, an open-air festive buffet will be served from 12 PM to 4 PM, accompanied by a live band, Christmas carols and seasonal entertainment. Both Christmas Day brunches are priced at IDR 1,350,000++ per person.
In the evening, Kwee Zeen shifts the focus to an Asian-inspired festive spread from 6 PM to 10:30 PM, with prices starting from IDR 799,000++ per person.
For families and groups seeking a more private celebration, Festive Group Dining is available throughout December. The four-course set menu can be booked from 1–31 December for a minimum of eight guests, starting from IDR 850,000++ per person.
Welcoming 2027, Sofitel Style
The festive calendar reaches its finale on New Year’s Eve. Guests looking for a more intimate dinner can celebrate at Cucina or Kwee Zeen, with dining packages starting from IDR 1,800,000++ per adult and IDR 900,000++ per child aged 6–12.
For a larger celebration, the resort’s signature La Nuit Midnight in Paris returns at the Gamelan Grand Ballroom. Set against the beachfront, the evening features a six-course dinner, free-flow alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, live entertainment by Lydia Rose, a DJ, and a front-row view of the resort’s midnight fireworks and pyrotechnics. Prices start from IDR 5,000,000++ per adult and IDR 2,500,000++ per teenager aged 13–17.
Festive Moments Beyond Dining
The celebrations extend beyond the dining table. Sofitel SPA will offer a selection of seasonal wellness treatments ranging from 60 minutes to two hours, giving guests a quieter way to unwind during the holiday period.
Younger guests can also look forward to a program of festive activities at the Kids Club, including Santa’s special gift visits on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, a New Year’s themed celebration and recreational activities with voucher giveaways.
One of the season’s most distinctive highlights will be a traditional Balinese Ngelawang parade, with Santa Claus joining the procession in a playful meeting of Balinese tradition and Christmas spirit.
Through “The Poetry of the Glow,” Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort brings together familiar festive rituals and the character of Bali, creating a holiday season centered on shared tables, family moments and celebrations that move from intimate to spectacular.
