Taking place over two exclusive evenings, the dining experience brings together Tangelo Bali and Double Ikat of Renaissance Bali Uluwatu Resort & Spa for a special four-hands celebration of Indonesian flavours, craftsmanship, and contemporary gastronomy.
Inspired by the equator, a symbolic line that bridges the northern and southern regions of Indonesia, the collaboration reflects a meeting of culinary perspectives shaped by the richness of Nusantara heritage. Through this concept, Tangelo Bali and Double Ikat unite to create an experience that honours Indonesia’s diverse culinary identity while presenting it with modern elegance and thoughtful creativity.
Set within the lush surroundings of Ubud, Tangelo Bali offers an open-air casual fine dining atmosphere where global flavours meet refined simplicity. For this collaboration, the restaurant welcomes Double Ikat, an award-winning dining destination known for its authentically refined Indonesian cuisine and delicate traditional artistry.
Led by Chef Wisnu Adiyatma, Double Ikat brings a distinctive approach rooted in Indonesian heritage and shaped by the balance of modern and classic techniques. His cuisine celebrates indigenous flavours, elegant presentation, and warm hospitality, creating a chef-driven experience where tradition and innovation come together naturally.
The result is an eight-course gastronomic journey designed to tell a story of cultural connection, creativity, and craft. Each dish highlights premium ingredients, contemporary techniques, and bold yet harmonious flavours, symbolising the meeting point of two culinary teams brought together by a shared appreciation for Indonesia’s rich gastronomic landscape.
Held exclusively on 21 and 22 July 2026, Beyond the Equator invites guests to experience an intimate dining journey at Tangelo Bali.
