TUMI has unveiled its Fall/Winter 2026 collection in Jakarta with the opening of the TUMI Alpine Chalet Pop-Up at the Main Atrium of Pondok Indah Mall 2. Open to the public from September 2 to 20, the immersive installation translates the season’s alpine inspiration into a refined urban setting shaped by travel, craftsmanship, and contemporary luxury.
The launch was marked by an intimate opening event on September 9, welcoming 50 guests for an evening inspired by alpine warmth and the spirit of exploration. Indonesian actors Adinia Wirasti and Deva Mahenra made a special appearance in looks from the new collection, bringing TUMI’s elevated approach to modern travel into focus.
An Alpine Color Story for Fall/Winter 2026
For Fall/Winter 2026, TUMI looks to the Alps as a metaphor for movement, ambition, and the pursuit of the summit, both physical and personal. The unisex collection draws from open skies, tactile terrain, autumnal transitions, and winding mountain paths, balancing the quiet confidence of nature with the demands of life in motion.
The season brings new expressions to familiar TUMI icons, including Alpha, Voyageur, 19 Degree, and Harrison, alongside new collections designed around performance and versatility. Alpine greens, glacial blues, slate greys, warm timber tones, and snowdrift whites shape the palette, complemented by cognac, icy blue, and burnished tan. Rich leathers, layered fabrics, and technical textiles reinforce the collection’s emphasis on durability, functionality, and polished everyday use.
The 19 Degree travel cases arrive in Deep Pine and Salt, while select Alpha pieces introduce Forest Camo and Deep Pine. Harrison is refined through updated silhouettes and elevated craft detailing, while the new Axis backpack collection pairs lightweight nylon with a soft structure and streamlined profile. Voyageur expands its tote offering with leather finishes in Deep Pine, Oat, and Rosewood.
For the holiday season, TUMI also introduces the Holiday White capsule in Salt and Glacier White, reimagining signature silhouettes with playful Snow Monster prints.
A Mountain Retreat in the Heart of Jakarta
Designed as an alpine sanctuary within the city, the TUMI Alpine Chalet Pop-Up creates a temporary retreat that invites visitors to slow down and explore the collection in a setting inspired by high-altitude travel. Dark timber finishes and a star-lit ceiling establish a sense of warmth and intimacy, while large bay windows frame the main lounge and place the collection at the center of the experience.
Details throughout the space extend the mountain narrative. Ski Lockers reference the ease of alpine living, while the outdoor terrace includes a Star Gazing Corner and F&B Counter. A ski gondola positioned outside the chalet creates another immersive touchpoint, offering visitors a playful alpine-inspired photo moment within the mall environment.
Rather than functioning solely as a retail display, the pop-up is conceived as a journey through TUMI’s design language, with products integrated into the environment to encourage discovery at every turn.
An Evening of Fashion and Alpine-Inspired Experiences
Guests at the opening explored the Fall/Winter 2026 collection through a fashion presentation and a series of alpine-inspired activations. A Hot Chocolate Kiosk added a seasonal touch to the evening, while an exclusive workshop invited guests to interpret the landscape and mood of the mountains through their own creative perspective.
Together, the fashion, design, and interactive experiences reflected the collection’s central idea: the journey itself can be as meaningful as the destination, with resilience, curiosity, and personal progress shaping the path forward.
