World Wellness Weekend Brings Three Days of Wellbeing to The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali

From natural wellness rituals and a beachfront Tabata session to sound healing, an Italian wellness brunch and traditional Balinese Boreh making, The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali marks World Wellness Weekend 2026 with a three-day program centered on movement, nourishment and recovery.

A Softer Approach to a Bali Wellness Weekend

Wellness does not always need to arrive as a tightly scheduled retreat. From 18 to 20 September 2026, The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali invites guests and wellness enthusiasts to explore a more flexible approach during World Wellness Weekend 2026, with a three-day program built around the theme “Reset. Recharge. Reconnect.”

Led by Dr. Jitendra Pokhriyal, Wellness Ambassador at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali, the weekend moves across natural wellness rituals, hydration, movement, breathwork, recovery, sound healing, mindful dining and a traditional Balinese wellness practice. Each experience is designed to be approachable on its own, allowing participants to join the moments that best suit the way they want to feel.

Natural Wellness Sets the Tone

The program opens on Friday, 18 September at 11 AM with a complimentary DIY Wellness Ritual at the Wellness Arcade. Focusing on natural wellness, hydration and nourishment, the session offers a relaxed introduction to the weekend and the resort’s broader wellbeing philosophy.

Rather than asking guests to overhaul their routines, the experience encourages simple, practical rituals that can become part of a more mindful approach to travel.

Movement Meets Recovery by the Beach

Saturday shifts the focus toward energy and recovery. At 3 PM on 19 September, the complimentary Tabata & Herbal Ice Bath session at Westin Beach Workout combines movement and breathwork with a restorative cold-water ritual.

The pairing reflects a growing interest in wellness experiences that balance exertion with recovery, while the beachfront setting adds a distinctly Bali character to the session. Guests can move, reset and cool down without committing to a full-day program.

Wellness Sunday: Sound, Brunch and Balinese Tradition

The weekend concludes on Sunday, 20 September with a sequence of experiences that brings together sound, food and local tradition.

From 11 AM to 12 PM, Dr. Jitendra Pokhriyal leads Sound Healing at the Wellness Studio, creating a quieter start to the day before guests move into the culinary portion of the program.

From 12:30 PM to 4 PM, Prego presents a wellness-inspired Italian brunch by Chef Michele Antonucci. The experience pairs the restaurant’s Italian identity with a mindful approach to nourishment, supported by a wellness-focused à la carte selection.

The afternoon continues from 2 PM to 3 PM with a Boreh Making Experience at Prego in collaboration with Heavenly Spa by Westin™. Boreh, a traditional Balinese wellness preparation, gives participants the opportunity to engage with a local ritual while creating their own blend as part of the experience.

Wellness Sunday is priced at IDR 690,000++ per person.

Wellbeing as Part of the Stay

“Wellness does not have to mean doing more. Sometimes, it is simply about creating the space to pause, breathe, move, nourish ourselves and reconnect,” said Arun Kumar, General Manager, The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali & Bali International Convention Centre.

He added that World Wellness Weekend allows guests to experience different aspects of wellbeing, from movement and recovery to mindful nourishment and traditional Balinese rituals, with the aim of helping each person find an approach that feels relevant to them.

The weekend also reflects the resort’s wider wellness positioning. Alongside Heavenly Spa by Westin™, guests have access to WestinWORKOUT® Fitness Studio, the open-air Beach Workout, a Reformer Pilates Studio, Spin Studio, Hot Yoga Sanctuary and the resort’s signature oceanfront Ice Bath experience. Across its restaurants and bars, Eat Well menu options extend the wellbeing concept into dining.

A Wellness Escape in Nusa Dua

Set on the beachfront in Nusa Dua, the resort offers a setting where wellness can move easily between structured activities and slower moments by the sea. For travelers considering a Bali wellness getaway, the World Wellness Weekend program provides a short, accessible way to explore movement, recovery, sound and Balinese traditions without the commitment of a conventional retreat.

Reservations for wellness activities can be made by direct message to @WestinBali. For the wellness brunch, guests can contact dining.bali@westin.com.
