Golden Hour to Nightfall

A Signature Cocktail Experience at Payangan Lounge

At Padma Resort Ubud, the transition from afternoon to evening sets the pace for Golden Hour to Nightfall, a cocktail collection now available at Payangan Lounge. Overlooking the greenery of Payangan and the resort’s koi pond, the lounge pairs contemporary cocktail craft with Indonesian ingredients and small plates for sharing.

The collection takes its cue from the changing light, moving from bright, refreshing flavors toward richer evening profiles. Five signature cocktails make up the offering, with three highlighted for their distinct expressions of the afternoon and dusk.

Trigona combines vodka, pineapple, ginger, kombucha, and trigona honey for a refreshing start. Bloom of Valley follows with East Indies Pink Gin, Campari, and grapefruit, balancing citrus with a measured bitterness. The Nightfall brings pistachio vodka together with Nusantara cold brew and coconut in a clarified cocktail.

The drinks are accompanied by antojitos and small plates suited to a leisurely afternoon. Smoked Wagyu Beef Ribs, Wagyu Beef Tacos, and Wood Fired Chicken Wings offer savory options for the table, while cakes, macarons, and handcrafted chocolate creations provide a sweeter accompaniment.

The setting is central to the experience. As daylight softens over the valley, Payangan Lounge offers space to settle into a slower rhythm, whether over a cocktail or a shared plate. The progression from golden hour to dusk gives the collection its character, with each drink offering a different way to enjoy the changing atmosphere.

Located north of Ubud’s cultural center, Padma Resort Ubud occupies 11 hectares in a river valley overlooking Payangan’s bamboo forests. The 149-room resort combines contemporary Balinese architecture and artworks with views from every room or suite, an 89-meter infinity swimming pool, and a selection of dining venues.

Golden Hour to Nightfall is available at Payangan Lounge, Padma Resort Ubud, Banjar Carik, Desa Puhu, Payangan, Bali. For more information, call +62 361 301 1111 or visit www.padmaresortubud.com. Updates are also available on Instagram at @padmaubud.
